Just a great man!

My family abandoned me when I was too young to be abandoned. I was fortunate enough to be taken in by Chris and his family and I feel lucky that I knew him. Chris didn't say much too often, but he was quick witted and if you hit on something which he was passionate about, well, he'd talk for England. I think my passion for photography (and Queen!!!!) stems from many late evening chats whilst I helped (supervised - as he wouldn't let me help) washing up the dinner dishes. He always cared for everyone even if he didn't say it, you knew he was looking out for you and he loved his family, you could feel that whenever you walked into the house. I never had that growing up, Roy, Tracy, Mark and Leslie, you are a lucky bunch of people I promise you that. I wish I had kept in touch more and been there for you all as you were all there for me in my time of need. It's so easy to say that in hindsight though isn't it, even if I didn't call, you were and are often in my thoughts. I know Chris is watching us all, sitting on a comfy settee with his feet up, smiling (as usual) listening to Queen! :) Love to you all xxxx
